Greenbuild Special Initiatives

Greenbuild Scholarships

Each year, Greenbuild International and partner USGBC offer scholarships to green building and sustainability professionals to join us live at our annual event.

Applicants working in the following areas are encouraged to apply:

  • Equitable Development: reducing hardships and inequalities in our communities while improving accessibility and quality of life for vulnerable populations
  • New Technologies & Paradigms: innovative, forward-thinking paradigms; revolutionizing community development as we know it
  • Resilience: future-facing approach to combatting climate change and eradicating unsustainable, inequitable resource use
  • Health: from affordable housing and community reinvestment to explicit, health-centric policies and practices in built space design and materials.

Scholarship Options:

  • Registration-Only Scholarships: ideal for local San Diego-area professionals and includes a 4-day conference pass and admission to the Resilience or Health & Wellness Summits. Travel and lodging are NOT included.
  • Travel & Lodging Scholarships: for United States-based professionals committed to long-term volunteer engagement with USGBC across our 8 regions.
