The interconnectivity of the environment, human health, and the economy is increasingly apparent after witnessing the domino effect of consequences that the global pandemic has imparted on the global population. Melissa Baker, Senior Vice President for Technical Core at the U.S. Green Building Council, will deliver remarks on USGBC’s strategy to support recovery, centered around the organization’s belief that healthy people in healthy places equals a healthy economy. Baker will also share results and tangible steps on how LEED can evolve to prepare for a healthier post-pandemic future, derived from USGBC’s Healthy Economy forum this past August.
