Admission to a Workshop is included with your four-day conference pass. See more about packages and pricing.

By attending, you can earn up to 7 hours of continuing education credit. Many workshops also qualify for LEED-specific hours.

All USGBC LEED education programs meet eligibility requirements for the LEED Green Associate, and many meet credential maintenance requirements for the Green Associate and LEED AP credentials. All workshops at Greenbuild are taught by skilled and experienced practitioners who are also trained facilitators.

Come to Greenbuild Atlanta and leave with your LEED Green Associate credential. Are you ready to demonstrate your general knowledge of green building practices and how to support others working on LEED projects? The LEED Green Associate is a foundational professional credential signifying core competency in green building principles.

This advanced-level workshop is designed for professionals with LEED project experience who want to transform their practice to design, construct, and/or operate better buildings.  You will receive reading materials and videos to review ahead of time and notes to prepare. Onsite, you will share your own experiences and participate in hands-on activities as a team and in tandem with USGBC technical experts, LEED Technical Committee members, and other green building practitioners. GBCI CE credit can be earned for both the pre-work and the on-site workshop.

The course will cover the basics of GHG accounting and footprinting of construction materials and highlight tools and techniques to reduce GHG emissions in project specifications and how these reductions contribute to LEED certification.
